Dear Editor, It should be brought to everyone's attention that the U.S. donation of $345 million for Southeast Asian tsunami relief is horribly dwarfed by U.S. spending on warfare in Iraq. We have spent more than 65 billion taxpayer dollars on this stupid war, and Congress will be deciding on another $100 billion spending package! I'm sorry, but we have no right to pat ourselves on the back when we outstrip aid and charity to the needy by our fearful and stupid spending priority called war. We should be ashamed!
