AMN Coverage Biased, Absurd

RECEIVED Fri., Aug. 6, 2004

Dear Editor,
I was deeply disturbed by Mike Clark-Madison's article "Access of Evil" ["Austin@Large," News, Aug. 6]. Madison made a few inane comments against Alex Jones and his "acolytes" for standing up for real free speech on Austin Cable Access TV. Madison made many childish comments calling cable access a "libertarian paradise" and calling Alex Jones "90% poseur and 110% asshole." It is this type of absurd journalism that keeps Americans from truly unbiased information. I am a patriot, Mr. Madison, not a devoted follower or a daydreamer. I desire a world where views are expressed honestly in a totally nonrestricted environment, which cable access provides. Let's fight for true free speech and keep the foolish name-calling to ourselves. God bless you and God bless America.
