Education, Freedom of Choice, and Quality of Life for Women

RECEIVED Tue., Feb. 3, 2004

Dear Editor,
Having been fortunate enough to serve as a director of Oklahoma City's chapter of Planned Parenthood when I was in my 30s, I feel qualified to write a letter about what the organization is about. It is about education, freedom of choice, and quality of life for women and children. It is about being responsible for yourself and others concerning your sexual behavior. Most of all, it is not about "building killing places." That anyone could be so ignorant and misinformed as Danze is, is very frightening to me. I am now 60 years old, and I still believe as I did 30 years ago. People have to have the freedom to make their own choices. I don't want any religious fanatic deciding anything for me or mine!
