Sticker Madness

I've noticed that large stickers have been popping up around town. Life-sized cartoon watermelons and ice cream cone designs appear alone and in groups, stuck to metal boxes near stoplights, billboards, and various other places in plain sight. I wonder if any Austinites out there know if there's any significance behind the stickers – or if someone has just gone a bit sticker happy? Keep Austin Weird!
