Love Seth Meyers but hate staying up? Don't worry, the host of Late Night With Seth Meyers will be keeping more regular hours as a speaker at this year's ATX TV Festival (May 29-June 1).
Having already announced that Jon Hamm will be hosting a Mad Men retrospective, as well as appearances from The Haunting of Hill House mastermind Mike Flanagan and Henry Winkler, now the celebration of all things small screen will be bringing some late night fun as Meyers attends the opening night marquee panel. Late Nights, Day Drinking, and Closer Looks will go behind-the-scenes of the Emmy-winning NBC smash as Meyers explains his approach to topical comedy, interviewing, and the durability of regular segments like A Closer Look.
He's not the only iconic first timer at the festival, as Jane Seymour will be part of a special panel about the growth of cozy entertainment experts Acorn TV. The Emmy winner, legendary Bond Girl and star of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman has become part of the Acorn family as actor and executive producer of her newest show, Harry Wild. For the Anatomy of an Acorn TV Series panel, she'll be joining Art Detectives writer and producer Paul Powell and Courtney Thomasma, executive vice president of streaming at AMC Networks, to discuss the growth from a streaming importer of British TV faves to creating original series.

Of course, as ATX TV Festival celebrates its 14th season there are inevitably a few familiar faces coming to Austin. With season 2 of Andor debuting on Disney+ on April 22, creator/executive producer Tony Gilroy and writer Beau Willimon return for a rerun of their 2023 conversation about expanding the Star Wars universe. >
They're not the only attendees back with a familiar project. Mark Duplass premiered episodes of his new indie episodic, The Long Long Night, at South by Southwest 2024. He now completes the journey with a screening and discussion of the long long process of getting distribution.
Also added to the schedule today:
• With season two of her CBS criminal law comedy Elsbeth wrapping up mid-festival, star Carrie Preston will be in town to discuss the success of her spinoff from The Good Wife.
• Talking of comedy actors with multiple successes under their belt, star of NBC's Community Joel McHale has hit ratings gold again, this time on FOX with Animal Control. He will be joined by co-stars Grace Palmer and Michael Rowland to talk about the show.
ATX TV Festival 2025 will run May 29-June 1. Passes are available at atxfestival.com.
