Seriously, how is Slaughter Lane a place in Austin, and not a winding, mysterious, dangerous passageway through the mystical city of Baldur’s Gate? Now they are at least a little connected through a massive mural for the release of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

It's the latest collaboration between the locally-based cinema chain and Austin street artist and muralist Mike Johnson aka TRUTH.

TRUTH has turned the 40 foot by 75 foot wall into his canvas before under what's called the Premiere Project. Starting with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2014, he's created memorable images for Terminator: Dark Fate, Scream, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, and most recently Top Gun: Maverick.

Now he's covering up his own work with even more of his creativity for the upcoming Paramount Pictures release, based on the global phenomenon table top roleplaying game from Wizards of the Coast. The fantasy action-adventure movie, starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis (It), Justice Smith (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu), and Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton), has been announced as this year's opening night film for the SXSW Film and Television Festival (March 3-10).

Here's a quick video of TRUTH and his team hard at work creating the magic.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves opens March 31.
