This Week's Waste of Time
Our free browser video game of the week. Now with more collisions.

Last week's game was a bliss-out of sorts, what with the smooth tunes in the background and birds flying around all peaceful-like. The latest online waste of time might have a reggae-infused soundtrack, but the gameplay is frenetic. Don't be fooled, your mouse will be flying when you play Tetraform.
It's yet another game from Tyler Glaiel who has given up previous wastes of time like Aether and Closure. And while Tetraform doesn't have the superlative art design of those two games, it makes up for it in fast-paced mousing and clicking.
You are a lonely little sphere in the middle of the cosmos with aspirations of being a planet. Apparently the only way to achieve this is to click on orbiting or attacking enemies and matching them up with other baddies. This has the effect of creating a gravitational pull between them. Pair your enemies well so they don't collide with your planet and you might just have trees and an atmosphere, surely making other planets jealous.
Glaiel has a knack for creating pretty games (like Aether) or well-balanced action games (like Tetraform). Every once and a while he creates something that has both characteristics and that's when you have an award winning game like Closure. Here's to hoping Glaiel keeps pumping out quality games with such regularity.
Enjoy.
