What happened today in gay? Here’s your QILTBAG recap of queer news.

New Pope tries to be nice, California gives queers a chance, and queer Irish folk aren't having it, as your AggreGAYtor heads to the Baathhaus.
The Good
California is moving to support LGBTQ-owned small businesses.
Baathhaus (and Austin’s own Stargayzer Music Fest) get a sweet review over at Vice.
The gay bar at 404 Colorado St. has returned to a fancy new norbal.
What’s been awesome and a bit queer for millenia? Classical nudes.
The Bad
Alaska (the state, not the drag queen) halts marriage progress.
The National LGBTQ Task Force pissed off the bisexual community with a bi erasure blog post, but has since apologized.
The Fugly
The Eastern Orthodox Church is hostile to queerness, but this sexy calendar might help.
Sorry RCC, but appreciating the “gifts and qualities” we have to offer sounds too much like that homophobic aunt admiring her new track lighting. It may be a big step for Pope Francis, but it’s still getting the side eye.
New York’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade may not be as inclusive as it’s trying to seem.
It Came from the Tubes
NSFW. YVW. TTYL.
