The Good

GQ Germany has a hot new campaign protesting Russia’s anti-gay law, “Gentlemen against homophobia.”

Slate Magazine gives us our first queer best-of 2013 list.

The conservative effort to repeal California’s law protecting transgender students isn’t likely to hit the ballot (and some conservatives are hysterical).

Washington’s first year allowing same-sex marriage saw a flood of gay weddings.

Northern Ireland has lifted its ban on same-sex adoption.

Israel memorializes gay victims of the Holocaust.

The Bad

In a shocking turn of events, India’s Supreme Court has re-criminalized same-sex behavior.

The Fugly

First, they came for the wedding cakes, but I did not speak out, because who doesn’t like cake?

Anti-gay organization The Ruth Institute is not made up of bigorts.
