Knickers in a Knot
By way of introduction, please welcome new GP blogger, Julie Gillis.

I'm Julie and I'm thrilled to be a new blogger here at the Gay Place! I've been in love with the Dandy Unicorn for quite some time, so my knickers are in a total knot!
About me, I'm an actress, producer, and proud ally to the LGBTQ community. A sexuality and social justice junkie, I love connecting the intersecting dots between politics, arts, and "real life," and examining how to open, little by little, the closet doors that all of us might find ourselves closed within (at least at some point in our lives). I believe in comprehensive sex ed in the schools, sexual literacy for adults, respect for all, and using comedy, laughter, and the power of the internet to make the world a better place for all people to love and be loved.
My column will focus on allies we adore, how to step up more for the LGBTQ community, resources, and links to help us achieve those goals and ways all of us can poke our noses out of our prospective closets where we can all gather together in a huge sexysmart progressive voting bloc. Sound good? Let's get started then, shall we?
