LISTEN: ACL Artists to Watch

Stream The Austin Chronicle Show now

This week on The Austin Chronicle Show on KOOP 91.7 FM, staff writer Austin Sanders joins us to discuss vaccination rates among first responders, a topic he also tackled in this week's issue.

Then in the second half of the program, Music Editor Kevin Curtin and staff writer Rachel Rascoe hop on to recommend some of the more under the radar artists they're most looking forward to ACL Festival this weekend. Two notes: We taped this segment a couple days before the torrential rains descended and impacted the festival, so keep in mind the schedule might have changed since our chat. Also, due to rebroadcasting rules, we've had to strip out all the songs we discuss. If you want to listen along, here are the tracks:

Moses Sumney: "Me in 20 Years"

Mark Rebillet: "New alarm clock song"

Remi Wolf: "Liz"

Tkay Maidza: "Cashmere"

Dayglow: "Close To You"

Charley Crockett: "I Need Your Love"

Want to catch the show live next time? Tune in Fridays, 6pm, to KOOP 91.7 FM or livestream the show at koop.org.
