Heads Up!
Just announced by the City of Austin:
The Austin Parks and Recreation Department will be closing Barton Creek Greenbelt at 4:00 pm today (Monday, May 11). This decision is due to the deteriorating weather conditions and concern for flooding, erosion and patron safety along the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
The closure of the trail will be re-evaluated by the Park Rangers within 24 hours and a determination will be made on whether it can be re-opened at that time.
