Searching for some live music after cooling off at Barton Springs or taking the kiddos to the park? Look no further than the Drop-In, the Long Center’s free outdoor concert series, which returns May 22.

Celebrating its fifth year, the Drop-In takes place every Thursday from May 22 through August 14 (skipping July 3) and now boasts a new partnership with KUTX 98.9. This year’s 21-artist bill traverses a multitude of genres and showcases some of KUTX’s past Artists of the Month.

Latin music lovers can expect to see indie pop outfit Chicoselfie and Colombian fusion group Superfónicos, who took home the 2025 Best Latin Austin Music Award. Hip-hop enthusiasts should note the boundary-pushing Mama Duke as well as rapper Blakchyl, who graced the cover of the Chronicle in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Other standouts on the program are the Western-dusted Pelvis Wrestley, indie pop project Skateland, and genre-bending Andrew Cashen & the Disciples of Creation. Check out the full lineup below. The Long Center will announce which artist performs the following Thursday every Friday.

Doors for the all-ages event open at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm, so bring your pups, kiddos, and lawn blankets/chairs. Free ticket RSVPs are encouraged but not required and open the Monday before the show at LongCenter.org.

For Austinites wishing to support the outdoor event, the Long Center offers memberships that come with perks such as access to the Member Lounge, priority RSVP, and year-round Long Center benefits.
