George Strait, Erykah Badu, Billie Eilish, and Black Pumas Highlight an ACL Fest Heavy on Texas Talent
Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks & Dababy also top lineup

ACL Fest, long anticipated as the first large Austin music festival that would emerge through a waning pandemic, revealed its 2021 lineup this morning: George Strait, Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Rüfüs Du Sol, Dababy, and Erykah Badu are set to headline.
The event, which also counts 2019 ACL Fest no-show Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat among marquee performers, notably contains a majority of women performs topping the bill. It also features a sizable load of Texas talent, with Black Pumas, St. Vincent [weekend 1 only], Dayglow, and Charlie Crockett, pairing with established Lone Star State favorites like Strait, Badu, Megan Thee Stallion. Other artists pulled from the local scene include Missio, Heartless Bastards [weekend 2 only], Asleep at the Wheel [weekend 1 only], Sir Woman [weekend 1 only], Nane, the Tender Things [weekend 2 only], TC Superstar [weekend 1 only], Riders Against the Storm [weekend 2 only], Mike Melinoe [weekend 2 only], Deezie Brown [weekend 1 only], and Blk Odyssy [weekend 2 only].
Other artists of note on the fest, taking over Zilker park for the weekends of Oct. 1-3 and 8-10, include indie favorite Phoebe Bridgers, choice rap offerings Jack Harlow, Freddie Gibbs, and Tierra Whack, art pop/electro soul artist Moses Sumney, garage punk unit White Reaper, ascendant R&B star Omar Apollo, and singer/drag queen Trixie Mattel.
