Feral Future: ‘No Means Nothing’

Austin riot grrrls premiere video from upcoming LP debut

Feral Future: ‘No Means Nothing’

Untamed punk quartet Feral Future gets bloody in a new video for “No Means Nothing,” the grimy, pissed-off lead single from the local quartet’s debut long-player, Haematic, due out on February 18 via producer Mike McCarthy’s Western Medical label.

“No Means Nothing” finds frontwoman Arielle Sonnenschein demonstrating more vocal poise than found on the group’s screaming 2012 EP, Come Out Swinging. She remains violently confrontational, nonetheless, singing, “I’ve got my wolf pack. They’ve got my back. These girls are tougher than your feeble attacks.” Layer that over a time bomb rhythm track and the all-female foursome explodes into a wild, visceral breakdown.
