Warm Up With AGLCC's State of the Chamber
Gay chamber moves its State of the Chamber event to El Sol y La Luna

Oh, no need to hitch up that team of Huskies. It's cold out there but not cold enough to stop the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce from doing what it does best:
Tonight's mission? Bringing people together who believe fiercely in economic equality and to hear a report assessing past successes to plan their path for the coming year.
The AGLCC State of the Chamber event was originally to take place at Austin City Hall… outdoors. You can't blame a girl for dreaming. The entire City Hall complex is closed today due to the great blizzard of 2014.

El Sol y La Luna has stepped up and offered to host the event at 600 E. Sixth at Red River.
AGLCC prez Jimmy Flannigan will declare the State of the Chamber, listing the progress made by the group in 2013 and laying out a new course for 2014.
We hope the first item to report is: "It's warm in here!"
The event is free and open to the general public. The nonprofit earns its stripes as a group that throws a great event: Neither snow nor rain nor dark of night… nor ice, ice baby.
