Our congratulations to the Austin Wine Merchant for their listing in Wine Enthusiast as one of the top five wine shops in the United States in the Best Overall Selection category.

Locally owned and operated since 1991 (and a past Austin Chronicle "Best of Austin" award winner!), Austin Wine Merchant joins four other amazing wineshops by capturing this award: Astor Wines in New York, Gary’s Wines in New Jersey and California, Mondo Vino in Denver, and Vinopolis in Portland, Oregon. Wine lovers who spend any time perusing websites for fine wines will know that the Austin Wine Merchant team have really accomplished something very special. Kudos especially to main man John Roenigk, whose singular vision has driven the shop’s march to fame.
