Living Room Live is a unique way to experience live music in one of Austin's most cozy settings. W Austin partners with The Sessions to host a night of performances by local musicians in "The Records Room" of the W hotel.
This months installment of Living Room Live features music from The Soldier Thread and The Lovely Sparrows. Also, while lounging around enjoy all night happy hour "S.I.P" including $5 small plates and cocktails.
Walking into the W Austin you're immediately struck by the hotels cool and luxurious atmosphere. Straight through the large double doors and to the left are two adjoining cocktail lounges where stylish people sip well-composed drinks. Continue past Trace, the W's farmed and foraged restaurant, and arrive at the center of the lobby's glowing, dim-lit room with vinyl records lining the walls.
"The Records Room" is the backdrop for The W Happening's Living Room Live. Once a month the hotel partners with The Sessions to bring you an intimate concert from talented artists that never disappoint. This month's installment of Living Room Live presents indie-pop quartet The Soldier Thread with opening act, The Lovely Sparrows. Come find a comfy couch next to the Chrontourage and hang out while we listen to these two engaging bands.
Big plus: Living Room Live features all night happy hour “S.I.P” (Social Interactive Playtime) specials. The S.I.P. and Small Plates menu includes a variety of dishes and $5 cocktails, as well as $3 American beer available in Trace. Doors at 7 pm, opening band at 8 pm, and headlining band at 9 pm. Free and open to the public!
