Sherwood Forest Faire: Get There Before It’s Gone

Don't miss one of the best Renaissance Faires in the country.

Sherwood Forest Faire: Get There Before It’s Gone

The third annual Sherwood Forest Faire is hosting it’s last few days of Renaissance fun this weekend in Bastrop County’s Lost Pines Region, only 35 miles east of Austin and worth the drive.

The festival is ranked one of the best of its kind and features over 100 live performances every day, in addition to 130 “Merchant Shoppes” with presumably authentic medieval gear and goods.

Personally, my curiosity alone to see what this Faire has to offer is enough to take me there this weekend! How many knights, damsels, and fairies I’ll come across is yet to be determined…but I have a hunch Sherwood is giving Camelot a real run for its money.

See ye all there!
