We've never really minded that Dallas considers itself the best-dressed city in Texas, since Dallas considers itself lots of things. But for a few years now, we have suffered a disadvantage locally when it comes to must-have H&M, with the nearest location, naturally, in Big D. Finally our bald-tire prayers were answered today, in a press release
announcing a new retail location at The Domain, slated for this fall.
“H&M is committed to opening new stores in the best locations throughout the country,” says Daniel Kulle, U.S. President for H&M. “We are excited to finally offer local Austin shoppers access to our high fashion, quality collections.” The store will occupy about 24,000 square feet of retail space, with with separate “store within store” sections for accessories, maternity, and lingerie. The talked-about childrens collection, which features clothing for newborns up to kids aged eight, will also be offered in Austin. With more than 2500 stores around the world, it's about time. Get ready, get set, get a dressing room, already!
