Memo From the HTX: Summer Fest Postmortem

Street shots from Houston's Summer Fest

The second annual wannabe-ACL, aka Houston's Free Press Summer Fest, had its moments, with the Flaming Lips, Slim Thug, and Girl Talk all making me want to blank my blank-ies.

It also had its moments of obvious festival-infancy, with hard-to-find, supposedly "free" water and a four-hour wait for the "late" Dead Prez. One thing I did not expect was the fashionable inspiration I found once I got to clickin' pictures of the freaks and the fabulous. Enjoy the following oddities we found at last week's Summerfest in H-Town!

Tail head. Head tail. Dumbass.

Other Chronique bloggers may disagree, but I hate these two pairs of sandals. The extra fabric and material annoy the piss out of me. Are those sweat catchers on your ankles?

HELL NO, you didn't! DAMN HIPSTERS!!!

Smart and sexy. We love this girl.

Please untuck your shirt, you tool! You might look a little less douche.

We're still on the fence about this one ...
