Swirly Girl

Check out Marian Bantjes's creative swirly typography.

Designers: Do you sometimes just feel overwhelmed with the thought, “Is there anything left to be created with typography?” Well, these folks have discovered it.

They’re illustrations, they’re informational, they’re a really smart concoction of form and function. It's this year’s campaign for fall fashion by Saks Fifth Avenue defined by Marian Bantjes and Pentagram, of course.

Despite all that campaign-y blah-blah, they are still awesome and inspirational. We all know swirls were hot last year in design. Well now Marian shows us that can be more than just frilly, they can be über-classy too.
