Get Smart
UT psychologist thinks you could think better
By Kimberley Jones, 11:41AM, Wed. Jan. 4, 2012

The holidays are typically a time for making some pretty dumb decisions, so January marks an excellent month to devote yourself to smart thinking. Enter University of Texas psychologist Art Markman.
Markman has devised a three-prong attack in his new book Smart Thinking: Three Essential Keys to Solve Problems, Innovate, and Get Things Done (Perigree, $25). If you missed him chatting up Dr. Phil yesterday, you can check out the video below or, better yet, see him in person tonight (1/4) at BookPeople, 7pm.
A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene.
