Chris Nicholas ~ AKA Uncle Staple ~ and his posse have been planning & scheming & spending untold hours to bring this bigger-than-ever, this now-two-days event to the multi-room Marchesa Hall over there by Jerry's Artarama. They've gathered more than 150 exhibitors. They've scheduled panels (Indie Animation) and live interviews (Jill Thompson, Alex Robinson, and others) and wild performance (a section from The Intergalactic Nemesis, Sunday's Comedy Showcase at The New Movement). They've scheduled pre-parties and after-parties and more, so you can hang and work the witty banter with the likes of Tim Doyle of Nakatomi, with Kristin Hogan of Dead Squirrel Girl, with Brad Bankston of Austin Books & Comics, with the peeps of Top Shelf Comix, with E. K. Weaver of Taj and Amal fame, and other such bon vivants.

So if you've been wanting a place to get your comic-book subculture itches thoroughly scratched ~ and in a more personal, less Hollywooded style than what you might've found at the recent Comic Con ~ well, uh ...
