My Jerkmate Review: Personal Account of My Adventure

What initially drew me to Jerkmate—aside from the site’s promise of helping you find the perfect masturbatory partner—is the fact that unlike most other live cam sites out there, this offers quality content that’s a step above its competitors.

I finally found what I was looking for to help me discover the right cam model. Jerkmate has nice search filters that are divided into two main categories: cam girls and cam guys.

The fact that their search tool even contains tags for the thousands of models they have is great. So much so, that I might even just forgive this live cam site for putting me through that horrendous signup process.

Aside from the tags, you also have a variety of filters that range from new models to gold show cams. Again, it’s a nice way to organize your roster of cam models and ultimately help me—and you— find the right cams more easily.

The featured models on the page are lovely, too, and I’m not just talking about those hot bods. Jerkmate manages to put just the right number of screens on their homepage to not overwhelm you. Even better, the live cams started giving me a live preview whenever I hovered my cursor over them.I then proceeded to check out their guy cams. Who knows? Maybe this was the night I was going to start wanking it with a dude, so off I went. This is what I saw:

For the most part, their cam guy section is identical to their camgirl one. However, it’s a bit of a bummer that the tags on the site’s search filters remained the same: it’s still meant for cam girls.

Jerkmate would be so much better if they adjusted their cam boy tags to fit, well, live cam dudes. Unless there’s actually a man who has legit “big tits” and is a “MILF”, then this probably gets confusing for some users.

All in all, though, Jerkmate is commendable for making such a streamlined site layout that doesn’t shove their featured models right to your eyeballs. As it stands, Jerkmate’s site interface is aces.

Jerkmate’s Public Live Cams: Yay or Nay?

But what stands out on Jerkmate’s chat window is how easy it is to send tips to your chosen model, which is how public rooms on this live cam site work.

You’ll notice there’s a “quick gold” option at the bottom of the chat screen where you can send anywhere from 1 to 5 gold (that’s $1 to $5 in real money) to your model. If you want a different amount than that, press the “give gold” button and a window appears that asks you how much exactly you want to tip them.

Keep in mind, these are tips; you’re not exactly going to get anything for them. If you want to pay for a specific act from the cam model, you should click on their “gold menu”, which is on the upper right side of the chat window. Once you do, this appears:

The “gold menu” section shows you the exact prices they have for specific performances you want them to do live, so you just click on one of them, then proceed with giving them that amount of gold.

Aside from the tip menu, models on Jerkmate usually provide additional services and products, which they advertise through the chat window:

On the other hand, the “give gold” (for tips) menu also appears beside the “gold menu”, which is pretty redundant since it’s the same window that appears when you click on the button at the bottom of your chat screen.

Jerkmate could do away with this, in my opinion. I mean, come on, one tip menu is enough. So, either stick with this or the other button.

I digress…

It’s great that Jerkmate provides you with an option to add any model to your “favorites” list. After all, searching for them every time you go online could get really tedious.

Having checked out all the chat room features, it’s finally time that I went on a private show. So, onwards then!

Jerkmate Gold: I Have Mixed Feelings About It

Jerkmate is far and away from being one of the most affordable sex cam sites out there. At $1 per Jerkmate gold, you’re looking at around 10x the price of other, cheaper cam site currencies out there.

There are some platforms that charge as low as $0.05 to $0.07 per “token”, so yeah, Jerkmate isn’t a cheap camming option at all.

Jerkmate Private Cams: Are They Worth It?

The first thing you should know about Jerkmate private cams is that there are actually two types of private shows you can opt for, and they’re both pricey.

On one hand, you have “private” shows. Here, you can have a one-on-one session with your chosen model, but other viewers can still send them messages.

The “exclusive” option has everything the “private” option has, with the addition of having the model ONLY chat with you during the show.

At $4.99 a minute, the private option isn’t the cheapest, but it’s still reasonably priced. On the other hand, having to pay double (exclusive chats cost $9.99 per minute) just to have an honest to goodness one-on-one chat feature with your cam model is pushing it.

You also have to know that $4.99 is the lowest amount that a Jerkmate cam model charges for a private show. It just goes up from there, so remember to be mindful of their rates before you dive right into a one-on-one session.

But a mere $4.99 per minute won’t deter me from burying my face into some virtual pussy, so I bit the bullet and went ahead with a private session and my delicious cam girl.

Once inside the private chat room, you’ll notice there are three additional chat features that are added to your window. These include:

• Cam 2 cam
• Two-way audio
• Phone call feature

All of these features come with the package, thankfully, so you know that per-minute fee is actually going somewhere and Jerkmate isn’t just milking you. Do note, though, that the phone call feature is rather uncommon with the models; most just use the two-way audio to communicate with their viewers.

All in all, it didn’t take me long before I got my chub back (plus interest!) and blew my load. The cam model I chose wasn’t just a hot piece of meat strutting her stuff in front of a cam; she took time to communicate with me and take my requests.

What I Think About Jerkmate: The Verdict
