The largest wild camel population in the world is in Australia. Camels were first brought there in the 1840s, and there's a lack of natural predators, so the population has been expanding ever since.

A recent study in the Journal of Marketing Communications found that men with beards are considered more credible than their clean-shaven couterparts. Men with beards were slightly less effective in underwear ads, however.

Some Alaskan Eskimos believe auroras are the spirits of the dead kicking around the head of a walrus.
