According to syndicated columnist Lenore Skenazy, there is a one in 1.5 million chance that your kid will be abducted and killed by a stranger.
Deborah Sampson (1760-1827) was the only woman to fight in the Revolutionary War. She disguised herself as a man and took the name Robert Shurtleff. Her true identify was discovered by her doctor, Barnabas Binney, who fell in love with her. Gen. George Washington gave her an honorable discharge.
The tango was born by the end of the 19th century from a mixture of several rhythms that were danced in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. Since only prostitutes would dare perform this dance, in the beginning most couples were formed by two men.
