The 1965 film Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine was probably the original sexbot film. Dr. Goldfoot (played by Vincent Price) invented an army of bikini-clad robots programmed to seek out wealthy men and charm them into signing over their assets. Frankie Avalon and Dwayne Hickman play the heroes.In New Guinea the meat of white people was called "long pig."
When Maspro Denkoh Electronics wanted to sell its $20 million collection of Picassos and Van Goghs, it wasn't sure if it should go with Sotheby's or Christie's. So it made the two auction houses compete by playing a round of scissors, paper, and stone. Christie's won because it chose scissors and Sotheby's chose paper.
