Sure, the new minor league stadium on the east side of town that will cost the city millions in construction dollars may be nice. But for my money, it won't be able to beat the low-tech home of the Concordia Stags. Beautiful green grass, a couple of bleachers not more than 15 yards from home plate, plus a view of I-35 and the sprawling UT campus beyond. This is baseball reduced to its simplest elements, the way it should be.
