Austin Theatre Critics' Table Nominations 1998

The Austin Theatre Critics' Table have announced nominations for their sixth annual awards for achievement in theatre. The participating critics — Michael Barnes, Jamie Smith, and Anna Hanks, Austin American-Statesman; Jerry Conn, West Austin News; and Robert Faires, Adrienne Martini, and Sarah Hepola, The Austin Chronicle — honored work produced on Austin stages during the period May 1997-April 1998. The awards will be announced in a public ceremony Monday, May 9, during which the members of the Table will honor David Mark Cohen and John Bustin, both of whom died in the last year. (Note: Members refrained from voting in categories in which family members were eligible.) — Robert Faires
