    Almost Real Things x Mesmerize: Big Splash ATX

    This festive gathering of Austin’s creative communities returns for its second summer bash, an all-ages showcase of the city's most passionate movers and shakers to celebrate local culture with art, live music, food, and drinks. Stop by and say howdy to the champions of ATX Urban Art, Blue Dozen Collective, Contracommon, Fusebox, Gan Bei Gals, Highland Collective, Las Ofrendas, The Little Gay Shop, Raasin in the Sun, and more. Bonus: The wonder-wizards of Mesmerize have built a waterfall photo wall to complement the newly constructed tiki bar and courtyard outside, while Ion Art presents a dazzling "Neon Garden" for full-on Instaworthy fantasies.

    Last Day of the Eureka Room!

    Austin's most absurd and fun attraction will have its last day on September 24th, so visit while you still can! It's the Eureka Room, a participatory experience where visitors engage with curious and playful programming within a unique 100-square-foot room filled with light and sound.

    Recspec Gallery at MoHA: Kite Abomination

    The artists of Recspec have taken a beloved form of childhood entertainment and transformed it into something entirely new. Will these kites be beautiful? Will they be twisted? Will they even fly? As the heat bears down upon our city, the kites in this two-day exhibition at MoHA soar on the prodigious talents of Aaron deGruyter, Abi Daniel, Holly Bobisuthi, Thor Harris, Christopher Payne, Mason McFee, David Milner, Eva Claycomb, Gigi Grinstad, Kai Smart, Tim Kerr, and more.
