    For Colored Boyz

    This is a series of poems and monologues accompanied by dance and music – a form, originated by Ntozake Shange, who coined the term choreopoem. Written, directed, and choreographed by Bryan-Keyth Wilson, this choreopoem tells the stories of four men who have suffered oppression in a racist and marginalizing society.

    Immortal Longings

    That four-time Tony winner Terrence McNally explores the rich history of the Ballets Russes, Sergei Diaghilev’s itinerant Russian ballet company, in this newest play of his. See what happens in the the tempestuous relationship between Diaghilev and dancer Vaslav Nijinsky – as directed by Peter Rothstein for Zach Theatre, featuring choreography by Kelli Foster Warder.     Leapin' lizards! Could it be true that the Chronicle's own Robert Faires plays the part of Daddy Warbucks in this ridiculously popular musical classic based on Harold Gray's old-school comic strip about a plucky young orphan in the Depression Era? Yes, he does – among an exuberant cast of TexARTS professionals directed by Joey Banks.
