Back in the day

Talk about timely: Just as subpoenas have started flying around in D.C., Watergate journos Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward will be at UT’s McCullough Theatre for two panel discussions today. At 2pm, they’ll be discussing Watergate and Presidential Accountability, then Watergate and the Media: Did the System Work? from 3:45 to 5pm.

Don’t forget to ask Bob why, somewhere between his books Plan of Attack and State of Denial, he suddenly realized that President George Bush wasn’t the bestest commander-in-chief ever and Carl where that Hillary Clinton bio he’s been working on for 10 years has got to.
