In last week’s News story “APA President Files Grievance,” we said Quianna Canada was arrested on Dec. 17, 2015, when in fact she received a citation. The Chronicle regrets the error.

In last week’s story “Campaign Finance Reports Shed Light on Prop 1 PAC Spending,” the Chronicle misrepresented the issue of background checks for TNCs. The city itself is not currently responsible for running background checks – as the article implied – nor would it be if Prop 1 passes. Instead, the city requires national background checks to be performed by a firm approved by the city, and would continue to do so should Prop 1 fail to pass.
