Last month up in Oregon, Portland’s Rose City Rollers played gracious hosts to the top-ranked teams in flat track rollerderby for the Women’s Flat Tracks Derby Association nationals. Tonight, Austin’s own Texas Rollergirls get to return the favor when the Texecutioners take on visitors the Wheels of Justice.

The bout is tonight, Dec. 6 at the Playland Skate Center (8822 McCann Drive). Doors 6.30pm, tickets $12 in advance, $15 on the door.

This will be the last opportunity this year to catch the Texas team, but the good news is that the dates for the 2009 season have been confirmed (first Sunday of the month, March through September) and Smack Pack season passes are now available.
