For anyone attending Thursday night’s TNA Wrestling event at Travis County Exposition Center (tickets still available): So far confirmed for the card (barring accidents and last-minute travel disasters):
Booker T vs. Christian Cage
Robert Roode vs. Samoa Joe
“Cowboy” James Storm vs. Eric Young

While any match involving Cage is (as his nickname goes) an instant classic, Joe/Roode could be the secret barn burner on the card. As arguably the best of the big four names to come out of Ring of Honor (himself, TNA’s AJ Styles and Chris Daniels, and WWE’s CM Punk), Joe’s rep was established on the indie scene. But Roode has pulled away from the now-defunct Team Canada, and looks to become the true successor to heavy-hitters like CW Anderson and Arn “the Enforcer” Anderson.

Also in attendance: “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, the Motor City Machine Guns, LAX, “Primetime” Elix Skipper, Johnny Devine, Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave, Jackie Moore, and Tracey Brooks. Doors at 6.30pm, event starts at 8pm.
