Yeah, the Olympics may have Michael Phelps and videos of David Bowie, but the annual Fun Fun Fun Fest warm-up and cool-down has more punk rock cred and fewer steroids than a Soviet-era weight-lifting team. Thrill! To tug-of-war across the lake. Flinch! To paddleboard jousting. Bust a move! With paddleboard freestyle. Laugh! As someone falls over in the paddleboard high-kick competition. Smell what we had for breakfast! With the Revenge of the Nerds belching contest. Not cool enough for you? How about sideline commentary from Mike Wiebe of the Riverboat Gamblers. And how’s about the first public appearance of the legendary taco cannon? Remember, lake water is not a performance-enhancing drug.
