The results are in from this weekend’s Women’s Flat Track Derby Association‘s Eastern regionals in Madison, Wis. Unlike Western regionals, where the big shock was last year’s national champs the Kansas City Roller Warriors going out early, there were no real upsets.

New York’s Gotham Girls transferred their number two national ranking into top seed for the east, followed (in order) by Chicago’s Windy City Rollers, the Philly Rollergirls from Philadelphia, and Carolina Rollergirls from Raleigh, N.C. This means Texas will face Carolina in the first bout of the Northwest Knockdown nationals in Portland, Ore., Nov. 14-16.

Before that, here’s some footage of the third and final day at last weekend’s western regionals, where Austin’s Texecutioners took on the Bay Area Derby Girls.
