It’s no secret that the Chronicle screens desk can be … well, a little nerdy. So, with this being Pride Month, it seemed to make all the sense in the world that this week’s Now Streaming in Austin live-Tweet selection is coming-of-age/sexual awakening/fan fiction fave Slash.

Spiritual sibling to nerdy dark comedy Zero Charisma (another recent Now Streaming in Austin live-Tweet selection, Clay Liford’s 2016 teen crowdfunded comedy follows queer teen geek Neil (Michael Johnston), whose forays into the world of fantasy erotica get steamy and hilarious (read our full review here).
