Summer may seem to be eternal in Austin, but as long as it’s too hot outside then there will always be a cool seat for you in the Paramount, as part two of the Summer Classic Film Series has been announced today, with a slate of beloved favorites, from noir mainstays to VHS wonders from the nineties.
Part one is already ongoing at the Paramount and Stateside, but the second leg of the season kicks off in fishnet-clad legs with the definitional and undefinable classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Fri. July 1, 9pm at the Paramount), but it’s not the only deranged slab of SF weirdness: Three weeks later on, July 22, the unironic madness of Ed Wood’s Plan 9 from Outer Space takes over your screens.
