Looks like the Austin carpool to Sundance is getting crowded: Kat Candler (jumping off bridges) will be world-premiering her new short “Hellion” there.
“Hellion” was one of 64 short films handpicked out of from a record 7,675 submissions to the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The short was produced by Kelly Williams, stars Jonny Mars, Deke Garner, Tommy Hohl, and Arthur Dale, and was edited by David Lowery (St. Nick).
Shot in Georgetown this summer, “Hellion” is described thusly: “All hell breaks loose when seven-year old Petey is left with his hell raising brothers, but things go from bad to really, really bad when Dad gets home.”
