So you want some RWBY on your shelves, but those deluxe, hyperarticulated, limited edition figures by Hong Kong sculptors Threezero ($150) are a little out of your Christmas price range. Well, there’s always the new range of vinyl figurines, featuring the leads of Rooster Teeth’s neo-anime streaming smash ($12.95 each or $39.95 for a set of four), and the third wave of 6-inch figures with interlocking bases has just arrived (pick up all the villains for $34.95 each). If you’re feeling cheap, and want to roll the dice on getting something really special, then RWBY has gotten into the blind box game ($6.95 each). That’s the maddeningly addictive hobby of not knowing which 2½-inch tall vinyl figure from the range of 11 different characters you might get. Odds are high on the central characters, but if you get hold of Zwei the corgi, at only one in every 24 boxes, you better keep hold.
