• After a long summer hiatus for the Paramount Summer Classic Film Series, Stateside Independent returns Sept. 19 with a screening of Terms and Conditions May Apply. Director Cullen Hoback will do a Q&A after the screening of his documentary, which dives into all the fine print you agree to every day without a second thought. • If you’re looking for something a little more outdoorsy that night, look no further than the one and only Barton Springs, where your usual Thursday-night dip can be enhanced by a screening of Living Springs, “an interactive documentary about Barton Springs.” Dozens of clips and shots come together to “tell the story of the Springs from many different perspectives.” Visit www.livingspringsaustin.org for complete event details.

• The Hill Country Film Festival folks today announced they’re accepting submissions for the 2014 fest. If you have a short (less than 30 minutes), feature (70-120 minutes), or screenplay (less than 10 or 70-120 pages), send it over before Nov. 15 to meet the early submission deadline; complete details are available on the HCFF site. The fifth annual HCFF will be held May 1-4, 2014, in Fredericksburg.
