Hang on to your mad hat for what could be the biggest Mondo show ever. According to Mondo Creative Director Justin Ishmael, “Nothing’s Impossible” lets Mondo’s favorite artists play with Disney’s greatest creations. Every artist was allowed to pick their own title, with Disney’s blessing, and the end result is a show featuring 35 posters from childhood favorites like Winnie the Pooh, modern classics like WALL-E, and even forgotten gems like The Cat From Outer Space.

Alongside Alice in Wonderland by Ken Taylor, here are three exclusive first glimpses. There’ll be two versions of the meddlesome trio of Lock, Shock, and Barrel from The Nightmare Before Christmas by Graham Erwin, with an unmasked regular print and a masked variant; Tom Whalen goes deep into the blue for Finding Nemo; and Mike Mitchell, who had his own Mondo show last year, puts Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles in profile.

“Oh My Disney and Mondo Present: Nothing’s Impossible” runs March 7-11 at the Mondo Gallery, 4115 Guadalupe. There will be a special, free family day on March 8, 9-11am, with refreshments and activities courtesy of Toy Joy. Visit austinchronicle.com/daily for an interview with Ishmael, Mitchell, and Grammy-winning art director Rob Jones.
