This year’s annual international summit on climate change, known as COP29, takes place at a time of global unrest and in the aftermath of a contentious U.S. election that will certainly impact America’s role in addressing the climate crisis.

As in years past, the interfaith group Texas Impact will be participating in the COP as credentialed NGO observers and sharing video with the Chronicle from the conference.

Texas Impact Foundation is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2000, providing theologically grounded public policy analysis to people of faith and other Texans. The Interfaith Center is the research and education partner of Texas Impact, a 501(c)(4) interfaith legislative advocacy network.
