Rep. Alonzo

Sad news from Rep. Roberto Alonzo, D-Dallas. The term state rep’s brother, Ramon, and Ramon’s grandson Elisha died during a family fishing trip to Crystal City on Saturday

Democratic Party of Texas Chair Boyd Richie has issued the following statement:

“Both Betty and I were at a loss when we heard of the tragic news. Our deepest sympathies go out to Rep. Alonzo and his family. Nothing can prepare a family for such devastating news, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Alonzo family as they deal with this loss.”

Newsdesk would like to pass on our condolences to the representative and his family at this time.
