Yup, the Totescast is getting its commiseration on following election night. While national and state results were certainly cruddy, the results closer to home weren’t much better for much of the Central Texas delegation.

However, solid support for Proposition 1, the local transportation bond, may have buoyed local spirits. And if that’s not enough, City Council‘s citywide recycling plans provide some hope for tomorrow. Wells Dunbar and Richard Whittaker want you to step back from that ledge, my friend.
