The details are hazy, but the numbers seem clear: Rep. Joe Straus, R-San Antonio, has released a list of the names of 85 state reps that have pledged to vote for him as House Speaker.
Unless he’s making it up, or someone’s lying, it seems that Speaker Tom Craddick will lose his office in the next session.
