Stephen MacMillan Moser has been arrested in connection with a fire at the City Hall parking garage.

As has been reported in other local news outlets, Moser has been charged with arson, a second degree felony. The author of The Austin Chronicle‘s After a Fashion column is alleged to have caused a fire in the car of his roommate, Nicholas Hill, when the vehicle was parked at City Hall on the early morning of March 13. The fire was quickly extinguished by Austin Fire Department.

Moser has been released on personal bond and is now staying with friends.
