On our Halloween week episode of The Austin Chronicle Show on KOOP 91.7 FM, we dig into topics both earthbound and otherworldly.

First up, reporter Lina Fisher delves into the two vision plans for the future of Zilker Park and their different approaches to weighing the cultural value of the park with the ecological impact of an average 2 million per year.

In the second half of the program, James Scott joins me for a far-ranging conversation about the newly reopened and relocated “vampire parlor,” the Glass Coffin, and why so many folks in LGBTQIA communities connect with the horror and supernatural genres.

Want to catch the show live next time? Tune in Fridays, 6pm, to KOOP 91.7 FM or livestream the show at koop.org.
